I've been trying to find a way to teach Isaac how to give back to Jesus, so I was thrilled when I found a Paint-A-Bank at the dollar store. He LOVES putting spare change in the bank his Uncle Matt and Aunt Nina got him, so I thought we would put our "Jesus" bank next to it and he would have to decide how much money he puts in his and how much he gives to Jesus. We then went to his room and he got to pick out a present to put under the tree for Jesus. He spent a good 10 minutes looking thru all of his cars and then settled on this red race car. He couldn't stop giggling as we wrapped it up and put it under the tree and he has been saying "Happy Birthday Jesus" all morning. Oh, by the way, the bank is a plane if you were wondering.

Isaac has a heart of gold! What do you do with the gift for Jesus? What a great idea!
not quite sure yet... i don't think i thought it through! he is going to give his money in the offering, as for the gift- any ideas?????
That's cute! Hmmm...maybe have him give it to another little boy (maybe a stranger - I don't know???). Then tell him that our greatest gift to Jesus is to share our love with others and that's what HE would want for Christmas...BTW thanks for watching my child during service:/
i LOVE that idea! that's perfect!! and by the way, your little boy is a doll and it was no problem. i'll have to send you the pics of isaac and drew... some of them are so cute!
isaac is so cute. haha. was wondering what that was.. at first i thought it was a fish.
I think it's a helicopter. Plane's don't usually have propellors on top. Just my thought.
Such a big, sweet boy!!! Between his gift giving and sharing, you can combine the two. maybe have him find a toy that is from when he was younger, then think about his young cousins and sister that he could pass it on to. Then he can wrap it for them and give it to them! (it will also free up some room for new presents).
