I had such a wonderful day! My sister came over to watch my kids so I could have the morning to head to my favorite place in Michigan... John King Books! Coffee. Good Conversation. Books. What more do I need?
You are SOOO lucky you have family around to watch your kids so you can get out and do stuff like this. I would LOVE to have someone around to watch my kids. I just don't know enough people around here yet and my kids (well, mya and mason) don't do good with just anyone...so i've never had a babysitter...but anyways..that book place looks AWESOME! Sounds great! :)
Since you love books, the Clinton Macomb Library is having it's Book Sale Thursday, April 30 - Sunday, May 3. Times: Thurs noon-8:00pm Fri & Sat 9:30am - 5pm Sun. 1:15-3:15
Paperbacks are .50 Hard Cover 1.00 in the main sales room. There are special rooms for childrens book, Video & DVD's and special books. The childrens books are very reasonable. I think on Fri. &/or Sat. they sell the childrens books for so much an inch, in a stack.
