good-bye 2012
I am not joking around when I say that this past year FLEW by.
We laughed....We cried....We joked....We explored.
We prayed....We hoped....We changed.
We prayed....We hoped....We changed.
We are ready for 2013.
Yesterday we were challenged with Ephesians 4, and I can't stop thinking about how this applies to our family. I'm excited! Our question for 2013: God what are you doing, and how can we be a part?

...and it's OFF to Small Town!
This past Sunday Isaac graduated out of our church's Preschool/Kindergarten class into "Small Town, BIG GOD" elementary age class. He can barely contain his excitement. We have been so blessed to have our kids surrounded by teachers that expose them to the heart of Jesus. It was such a blessing to hear the teachers go around and say all the things they see in Isaac and how much he has grown. I couldn't agree more!

Baptism Sunday
Our annual Baptism Service... one of my favorite Sunday's of the year.
I'm so excited for the things God is continuing to do in our congregation.
I am also so grateful for the incredible people in my life and in my children's lives!

"The disciples were devoted to the teachings of the apostles, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer." Acts 2:42
Tonight was the launch of our summer life groups, and it was such perfect weather for a S'Mores bar and a bonfire. So excited for what this summer holds!

Sak Saum
Ever since I was introduced to the teachings of Christine Caine and The A21 Campaign, I have been totally distraught over the devastation of human trafficking.
Did you know that human trafficking is the second largest global organized crime today,
generating approximately 31.6 billion USD each year? And that specifically,
trafficking for sexual exploitation generates 27.8 billion USD per year?
That's why I was so excited to attend a purse party tonight, hosted by our church's women's ministry, that supported Sak Saum "a ministry that offers rescue, rehabilitation and restoration to
vulnerable and exploited women who have experienced firsthand the
devastation of trafficking.". The particular purses and accessories we bought tonight were made by women in Cambodia. It was so much fun... and for such a great cause!
I got a purse for me and a coin purse for Zoey (I couldn't get a picture of it because she is sleeping with it). I think I secretly like her purse even more than mine!

merry christmas
We didn't send out Christmas cards this year... a little too much going on... but I thought I would take the picture we have as a family and send a very "Merry Christmas" to everyone who reads my blog. I think next year we will try to take the picture BEFORE our Christmas service and not afterward... this is the best one I could find! We could have used a comb and a wet wipe, but either way, it's our family and we love it!

Here are a couple of more pictures from our Christmas service today. It was such a nice morning worshiping with our entire family. Time to illuminate!
Zoey couldn't wait to get to church to see "baby Jesus." She even brought him her favorite baby bottle in case he was hungry.
Sorry Jaimie... Isaac still isn't sure he wants to be a Bunk or a Poxon!
Nothing keeps little girls quiet during service like a good old fashioned sucker! (until it is is gone and we have to start bribing with something else)
Isaac was so excited to sing on stage with all his friends.
Papa and Grandma and all the grandkids....
