We started a tradition last spring and Isaac has been begging every morning to have breakfast on the lake. We also continued our quest for finding new parks by having our morning at Waterfront Park on Lake St. Clair. It was pretty windy, but we had a wonderful, relaxing morning together.

wow! looks beautiful. i'm guessing this lake is near your house. where in MI do you live?
reminds me of where i grew up on lake erie (niagara falls, ny)
it is right by where we live. it's not the most amazing lake, but it does the trick. (not sure i would let my kids swim in parts of it and i am a HUGE lake fan!)
lake st. clair actually links lake erie with lake huron.
what a great tradition! that is something I wouldn't think to do in the morning, but would LOVE to do!!! looks very peaceful:)
