it was a proud moment...and now i'm going to go bawl my eyes out.

Well, he did it.
I'm 95% proud.... and 5% freaked out that I have a 6 year old that can ride a bike!
He had to call Auntie Kyle right away to tell her.
Good job, Isaac!
{sorry the video is so dark... but this was a spur of the moment idea when we got home tonight and it was getting late}

The Thanksgiving Feast

Today was the kid's school Thanksgiving Feast, and it was packed out! You can tell it is close to a holiday because there is so much excitement in the air (and a ton of food!)

Isaac @ 9 months

This will probably only be interesting to the few people who spend incessant hours with my children... but doesn't this video of Isaac @ 9 months remind you of Zoey? Listen to the sounds he makes. They are so much alike!

Engine #7

This morning we met a bunch of kids up at the local Fire Station. Isaac loved seeing all his friends and seeing all the buttons on the truck. It's so much fun watching Isaac interact with his friends!

I don't want to go home!

Isaac and Zoey were finally feeling a little better and both their fevers broke, so we decided to take a field trip to the park to get some fresh air. We had a yummy picnic, went on every slide, and even took a surprise trip to the First Aid. Isaac had an allergic reaction to something and his face broke out fairly quickly. After he was looked at, he got to hang out with the local sheriff, got to go in his police car and even got to talk on his walkie talkie. He wanted Isaac to make the siren go on and even offered to let him talk on the loud speaker, but Isaac was a little overwhelmed, especially b/c he wasn't feeling good. This guys was so great! All in all, it was a nice day.

Family Fun Day: All World Gym

This week is always the craziest week of my life. We are taking the youth to our annual winter retreat this upcoming weekend, and there is an unbelievable amount of preparation that takes place beforehand. I even have a industrial size whiteboard in my kitchen with lists and lists of things I have yet to accomplish. The thing that kept me sane this year was having some time with my family amidst the chaos. Here are some videos from our family night at All World Gym.
(and if you think of me this weekend, please send up a prayer!)

It seems like no matter where we go,
Chris is tackled by people!
