the concert that never really happened...

Tonight was crazy! April took Keri and I to a Matthew West, Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith concert that never really happened. SCC got thru one and a half songs and the power went out (ironic since we were at DTE Energy Music Theater!) I have never been to something like this in my life.... God's presence was so incredibly strong, even thru all the technical problems. You could tell that Stephen Curtis Chapman was a broken man from the recent death of his daughter. It was so powerful to hear him talk about it right before singing "Blessed Be Your Name" He said he will never do another concert without singing that song because it became so real to him. I took a ton of video, but here are 2 that are pretty neat. #1 is Stephen Curtis Chapman talking to us without a mic about God's faithfulness and #2 is both guys worshiping to end the night. (Yes, we had VIP seats... thanks Nate and thanks Warrior Sports!)
